Photographers Jack and Michele Storms

Jack and Michele Storms have embarked on a tireless journey to document the immigrant rights movement throughout Washington State. At nearly every social justice event in town, Jack or Michele are in attendance with their lenses. Jack and Michele are dear friends of NWIRP and volunteer their special gift of photography of NWIRP's clients and events. They are committed first and foremost to documenting the human story whether at cultural or human rights events. As Jack has said, "I don't dance or give speeches but I can show the beauty of the human family with all our struggles and joys through my lens."

Jack has been a photographer since his grandfather presented a well-used Minolta SRT to him at the age of 12. He has hardly been without a camera ever since. No stranger to community service, his family also instilled those values in him at an early age. Michele is newer to photography having picked up the art after meeting Jack but she has a life-long history of commitment to social justice issues through both her professional and personal endeavors.

On behalf of our board, staff and clients NWIRP would like to honor Jack and Michele Storms for their contribution in the fight for equal justice for all immigrants and refugees.
