Seattle, WA – Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) presents its final fundraiser of the year, AnEvening at Wing Luke on Thursday, October 11, 2012 (10-11-12!).  The event takes place at theWing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience from 5:30 to 7:30pm, with a brief program that begins at 6:15pm.

A reception featuring delicious appetizers and drinks catered by Green Leaf Vietnamese Restaurant, along with live entertainment and access to the entire museum, are included with admission.

The event will include the presentation of NWIRP’s 2012 Outstanding Community Partner Award to Alysa Ruddell, PhD, of the Federal Way Psychology Clinic.  Since 2007, Dr. Ruddell has contributed hundreds of hours of volunteer work providing specialized services that NWIRP’s clients might otherwise be unable to afford.

Through contributing her expertise directly and through her supervision of volunteers, Dr. Ruddell has enabled dozens of NWIRP’s clients to access psychological evaluations and other assessments that can be crucial evidence in an immigration case. We recognize Dr. Ruddell for the critical impact her services have had on the lives of our clients.

Please join NWIRP and the immigrant rights community as we gather to celebrate NWIRP‘s work and Dr. Alysa Ruddell’s achievements, and raise funds to fulfill NWIRP’s mission.  To attend, register online at http://nwirp2012wingluke.eventbrite.com/.
